Act of treason
(Book)
A presidential candidate's motorcade is ambushed by a group of terrorists that everyone believes are connected to al-Qaeda. Two weeks later, he is elected President by a sympathy vote. Then classified intelligence is uncovered that indicates the terrorists were connected to some of the most powerful players in Washington. Mitch Rapp is the one man who is reckless enough to follow the evidence to its explosive conclusion.
